Licensed Professional Counselor
Hey, I'm so happy you're visiting the site because Grow, Encourage, Empower was started with you in mind. Perhaps you and/or your family are feeling like you are all alone and no one understands what you're going through. Do you need guidance and support in taking the next steps for what's best in your life? Are you struggling as a parent in communicating with your son or daughter or just not getting along? If these scenarios sound familiar then I am here to help. I started my private practice after working in the mental health field for over 10 years doing community work, inpatient treatment and case management services. Throughout this time there was always a desire to help on a more intimate level where I would truly be able to make an impact and help others make progress at a time in their life when it’s needed, so in 2015 Grow, Encourage, Empower PLLC was established. Since 2015 I have been able to assist countless families in working through crisis situations, parent/child relationship issues, child and adolescent behavioral concerns and young adults struggling with life transitions. My goal is to provide an atmosphere where you will be able to sense a feeling of authenticity and genuineness that will give you a feeling of ease in taking the healthy steps needed toward making positive change in your life. I invite you to check out the additional information on specifics diagnosis addressed, therapeutic approaches utilized and my Bio to learn more about me.

I began my counseling experience in my home state of New Jersey. While in New Jersey I worked as a community health case worker where I collaborated with other social service agencies and the juvenile justice system with the goal of keeping the youth in their home to avoid out of home placement. I also worked as a residential therapist and supervisor for teenage girls and provided individual, family and group counseling. In addition to these roles I was also able to work with the chronically mental ill adult population as a community case worker and therapist in assisting them with leading full productive lives.
In 2009 I relocated to North Carolina. Since my transition I have been able to work as an in-home therapist providing services for families in underserviced communities. I've also worked as a play therapist in a community environment as well as a hospital therapist for the child/adolescent and adult population. In 2015 I began my own Private Practice in Raleigh and in 2017 I moved my office to Downtown Cary. I currently reside in Cary and love the town and all it has to offer which is why I wanted to move my practice.
